Cat Information

My pet cat escaped from the house and missing: is she pregnant?

One of my pet cats (female) escaped four days ago, and has not been seen since. I noticed that a male cat has been on my property. Could it be that she is mating with the male cat?

  1. I'd say there's a 95% chance of that lol All cats are basically whores. They will bang every other cat, and there's nothing you can do to stop them unless you have them neutered at a relatively young age. If they haven't been neutered, they will run away to breed. I also suggest capturing the male cat and neutering it, feral cats grow in numbers and harm other species, and can cause trouble.
  2. she most likely iz...
  3. I have to be honest with you...if she has been gone for 4 days, she probably isn't coming back. She was probably eaten by another animal, or killed by a car or injury or just went off on her own somewhere. How old is she? Sometimes old cats that are near death, just leave when they know it is their time. If your cat was mating, she probably would go out at night, do her thing and then be back in the morning. I'm sorry, but I think she is probably gone.
  4. Can't answer that. If she was in heat probably. But my friend's cat was a year and a half old before she has her first pregnancy (could have miscarried a couple of times though). Cats become sexually mature around 6 months, if she was rolling all over the floor and being really affectionate before she left then she was probably in heat. But usually a cat will come home because they want their kittens to be born in the safest place and that of course is your house. I hate to say it and don't mean to scare you but your cat may be gone... Indoor cats don't know anything about cars.
  5. I don't know you will never know until you find her
