How do I forget about my pet cat, at least until it comes back?

My pet cat will be gone, on a vacation for a month, with it's original owners. I'll be heading off on vacation.

1. Just think...Well at least I'm getting him back, it's not like I'll never see him again.
2. why is it gone, i do wonder. oh well you can try just doing hobbies read a couple of books.
3. Get a new cat then you won't miss yours so much. When yours gets back they can fight over you.

5. Uh, you don't. Ha you just miss it for a month. It's straight, at least you get it back. It's not like it ran away or something.
6. it sounds like the worst idea in the world to send your cat on vacation for a month even if it is the origingal owners. this upsets your cat's stability and will confuse it. shuffling your cat around to different people is a horrible idea. i do not think that the cat needs to see its other owners because you are the main companion in its life now and it is unfair to your cat. even if you are going on vacation it is still unfair and harmful to the mental wellbeing of your cat. be responsible for the things you are responsible for and think about your cats health rather than your own personal indulgences which are wants rather than needs
