Is it better to put up a sign in front of the house that says cats for sale or to go to a local park?
What is better, to put up a sign in front of your house that says cats/kittens for sale or to go to a local park where there are a lot of kids and their parents and show the cats there. I wouldn't give any cats on the spot, to safeguard against weird people taking them and to also give the people the time to really decide if they want one or not. Btw, the city I'm in has no animal shelters, whatsoever. Not even nearby cities have them...so this is my only option. I've tried ads and only sketchy people have been responding.

- Dear va3na*, It's strictly up to you. A sign in front of the house means people knocking on your door etc. If you don't mind intrusions it might be more practical. I don't know where you live, so taking them to the park you might want to check with the city/town regarding selling on public property as municipal codes may warrant a permit that you have to apply and pay for. Putting a sign in front may be easier since you won't have to gather them up as this will probably upset them because of moving them to an unfamiliar place and people mauling all over them. Hope this is of some help
- I would put it in front of your house cause by dragging the kittens/cats to a park to sell them is dumb. Are the cats exspensive cats? Cause why would you sell them? Now n days they're free unless they are a awesome breed of cat.
- try craigslist!! I found homes for 4 kittens in 4 hours through there. I listed them in the pets section and put "Free kittens to great homes" then I asked questions of the people responding. Weeding out the non-serious lookers. Good luck!
- Is there a reason you can't work through a feline rescue? Not a shelter (which you say doesn't exist in your city) but a rescue, run by individuals.
