What can I use to get cat litter and cat pee DRY PASTE out of the carpet?

What can I use to get cat litter and cat pee PASTE out of the carpet? It has been dry for a while, I knew I should have cought this sooner! I have tried just shampooing with regualar shampooer shampoo, laundry detergant, viniger, expensive carpet cleaner spray that turns into foam, grease cutter, and oops. It helped but its not getting it deep into the carpet and you can tell its deep in the carpet. Thereis also some right against the wall. I have tried scrubbing the heck out of it. I don't know what else do do, please help!!! Thanks for everyones answers ahead of time!

1. Try steam cleaning/spot cleaning it with Oxy Clean and then try using a product called odo ban on it. Both products can be found at Wal-mart or most grocery stores.
2. If the paste is really embedded that deeply into the carpet, I don't know that you will be able to remove it - after all, you have given it a darn good go!! Unless you tried renting a heavy duty vacuum and tried to suck it out of there with the high pressure, you might be stuck with it there until next time you replace the carpet. My cat peed over the side of the litter box and I used nature's miracle on it. It does seem to get the smell out, you just drench the area with it and leave it for a couple of days. Once the smell is gone, that should prevent them from going there again. It does say on the packaging that it will get the stain out, so perhaps it will work on the paste also but I wouldn't count on it. Good luck!!
3. Usually cat pee is very hard to get out of carpet completely. Have you tried going to like Pets Mart and buy stuff specifically for removing cat pee odor?? Most often the carpet has to be replaced in that area AND the carpet pad under the carpet has to be replaced. Most people forget about the carpet pad and just clean the carpet. But the pee soaks through to the pad too... So if you choose to only clean the carpet at least replace the carpet pad under the carpet or you will still have cat pee smell.
