2. So first you have 2 Torties, and now you have 2 calicos. Why don't you decide what color your cats are, and then either keep them or surrender them to a rescue. 3. Ah, if you actually have that rare male calico, visions of money is running through your mind. But what you actually then have is a sterile male, who commands no price other than for having a loving kitty cat. But I do know of one experienced cat owner who was certain the stray that came do his door was a male calico. Well, oops and egg on his face; it was not a male. Just very young and he made a mistake about what he thought he saw.
4. To Aquella: Tortie (Tortoiseshell)is the proper name for calico. Calico is a layman's term... so same thing. To the poster: Seriously doubt that you have male tortie's. They are quite rare as it is a genetic error and mistake. Find you cats good home and don't just try to sell them. More to Aquella: I work with and am a member of TICA (The International Cat Association.) Within TICA the term "calico" is not used. Its tortie or tortie and white. It is possible that other associations accept the term "calico" which is fine. I am just passing on the information from my association. I breed torties within my breeding program so that is where I based my information.

6. It is illegal to sell pets on CL but you can post animals with a small rehoming fee. You may want to look at pictures of tabbies on the internet, just because a cat has three colors on it does not mean it is a calico or a tortie.
