- Maybe - its not as simple as saying he wants to come home to the UK and bring the cat. Unless his cat has already passed the Pets Travel Scheme and received documentation, which involves rabies vaccinations, blood tests, being microchipped, etc - usually a 7 to 8 month process, it must be quarantined at a UK catterie for 6 months at your expense where it will undergo examinations and necessary vaccinations That is in addition to the airlines requirements for placing the cat in the cargo hold which usually entails veterinary documentation and other certain procedures in addition to the fees..
- Yes, but you have to abide by the regulations of England and there are required vaccinations, paperworkd etc. More info from the UK gov website: http://www.defra.gov.uk/wildlife-pets/pets/travel/pets/index.htm
