Cat Information

I would like the names of all the fat cat senators against the health care reform?

The health insurance industry paid some big pay back through their lobbyists to get all the Republicans to vote no under any circumstances

  1. ME TOO! So I can vote for them in 2010.
  2. Yeah, God forbid if they actually thought it was the wrong thing to do you know! I could give a damn what party they are in, if they say no to any form of government health care they are representing my veiwpoint! 3. You're making a sweeping generalization without providing any sources. So far all you've done is state an opinion. Do some research.
  4. Obama is filthy rich and he laughs at you, should he personally buy your vote for the next term?
  5. Actually, the health insurance industry is in favor of the current legislation passing. the only thing they don't like is that the fine for not buying insurance from them is not big enough. I heard that on NPR.
  6. To get their names, you'll have to sift through news articles and the Congressional Record. Max Baucus, Joe Lieberman, any "moderate" Democrat, any Republican. If you've got their names, you'll find all kinds of financial information at the FEC (Federal Elections Commission). http://www.fec.gov/DisclosureSearch/mapHSApp.do Open Secrets is a good way to get information without having to wade through thousands of pages of financial reports. http://www.opensecrets.org/
  7. Well, an easy way to find them is to see who has an (R) after their name. I challenge anyone to find me a Republican senator who will vote for health reform in any way, shape or form.
  8. START WITH nebraska/texas/florida
