How do you feel about feeding your cat garlic? Health benefits?
I've heard it is good for them and kills worms.

- It does not kill worms. Cats who regularly ingest garlic in any form are at risk of developing Heinz Body Anemia. Onions are dangerous as well. Go to the vet and get some appropriate dewormer. Homemade vetting usually ends in disaster. http://www.aspca.org/pet-care/poison-control/plants/garlic.html
- You're heard wrong. Garlic is TOXIC to cats. Look it up - you have the internet.
- That can actually kill your cat...
- It can't kill worms. This is and old wives tale. Medical doctors would be prescribing as an inexpensive cure for people in third world countries with worms if this were the case. Your cat doesn't need garlic, just a good canned cat food and fresh water daily.
- Check with your vet. I was told to not give them human food. Animals can be allergic to the oddest human foods (grapes, nuts... things that are healthy to us.)
