Are there any health concerns with a less then a year old Cat?

My cat Molly had her babies several weeks ago, And she is less then a year old,specifically born in October with her brother Tyrone back in october 2008. Are there any health concerns that may affect Molly with her feeding the kittens? (There were seven, but one died.) And, the brother Tyrone (who our family believes had the kids with Molly) He hasn't been home as often as he has been before. Why would this happen?

1. Though cats can have kittens at a young age, they should be at least two years old, because at 1 year old they are still growing. It would be similar to a 12 year old kid having a baby. I would suggest spaying Molly so she won't get pyometra; a deadly uterine infection or uterine cancer. She will be at risk for breast cancer, cats that are spayed before they have kittens and before they go through their first heat have a very low chance. Tyrone is likely going out to find other cats to mate with.
2. Why didn't you have your kittens neutered/spayed? Girls should be done at 5 months, Boys usually, 6 -10 months. Your Tyrone is out looking for girls, and you need to get him neutered soon. He'll be coming home bloody and injured, beaten up by an older, bigger, tougher tomcat. Also, the kittens are probably on solid food by now. If you don't want another litter before the year is out, get Molly spayed NOW. Ten months old is about fifteen in human years.Your cats will be safer, cleaner, and better pets when they are fixed. It does not cause weight gain, that's mythology.
