Cat Information

Does anyone know of any sites that I could find a momma cat and her kittens for sale?

Other than craigslist or petfinder, and also if you find any good ads for a momma cat and her kittens for sale, could you post the website on your answer?

  1. huh- usually the mom cats are the owners & only giving away kittens...not sure how to answer this- but maybe local vet office can help out- call around. why would you want a mom & all babies?!
  2. Um, your local animal shelter has way too many cats and kittens; I guarantee it. Or just look outside. In the spring and summer, tons of stray cats have kittens because their owners were too stupid to have them spayed or neutered. Just, for the love of God, don't breed your own cat. We will not run out of kittens. Right now, I have a litter of nine and their mother and another seven whose mother was killed.
  3. try kijiji.com but most people only sell the kittens and keep the mom cat good luck finding some cute kitties and the momma :)
  4. Just go to you local shelter or ask around! right now it's kitten season and thousands of kittens in the U.S. are being born each day!
  5. Oh gosh, I wish you lived close to me. I have free kittens, but no Momma. These babies lost their's when they were just days old and I have hand raised them, they are about 9 or 10 weeks old now. They are so cute and funny. I hope you find what your looking for.♥
  6. Go to the shelters or call and tell them you want a mom and a litter. a lot of people are dumping them at shelters right now.
  7. You didn't say why you want to "buy" a mother cat and kittens, but if I were you I'd go to your nearest kill-shelter and rescue one. I don't know where you live but I just got an email from someone trying to find a home for a siamese mix mom and her babies that were due to be put to sleep...see what I mean? You can always go to craigslist.com because there are all kinds of idiots on there who didn't spay their cat and now want to get rid of her and her babies and threaten to take them to the pound. When you get what you want, please get them fixed so you won't contribute to the massive pet overpopulation problem.
  8. Well, personally, don't go online. Go to your local pet store or local Humane Society. I know it might cost more to go to your local shelter, but they almost always have their micro chips, up to date shots, and plenty of love and care by volunteers. I know because I bought two black kittens who no one wanted from my local Humane Society. I know people mostly don't like black animals, but mine are so sweet and lovable that I don't think I'd rather have any other animals than I do now. I used to be very superstitious, but now am glad to have saved these two kittens! :) My advice, look up your local Humane Society Shelter and go there personally. However, take the time to spend at least two hours if not more to pick out those particular animals you want. They have little rooms for you to meet the animals you are interested in. Now, I wouldn't guarantee there would be a pregnant cat there at your local shelter, but you can always look for one which can still have kittens. Call ahead of time and see if they have one first. Good luck!
  9. Try your local humane society. Have you ever considered being a foster parent? You can rescue a momma cat and her kittens that the shelter can't care for. I hear it's a wonderful experience.
