- No, cats are not considered as pests in Singapore. Pests are cockroaches, rats, flies etc. Cats are pets. The only problem is when there are too many stray cats on the streets. You can get a free cat from the SPCA or from some cat lovers society(forgot the name of that society). Singapura cats is a prized breed which is no longer in Singapore.
- no need to buy.. its free to catch from any street or void decks.. lots of cats of different colors, stripes or spots for you to choose from.
- I keep cats and I'm from Singapore. No, cats aren't pests here! Rats, cockroaches, spiders are more likely. I've seen cat books stating that local cats are called 'drain cats' because of the mixed breeds I don't see whether if these cats will cause an allergic reaction. Perhaps you should check out a doctor or something for consultation first before you decide on a pet.
- cats are not considered as pest, most Singaporean keep them as pets, you can try view 88db website for pets adoption services, and maybe you can find the cat that you really like
