What are common health problems associated with the sphinx cat breed?
What are some common misconceptions concerning the breed? Also, how can I find a Sphinx breeder around the Missouri or Kansas area...like within a few hour drive from kansas city, mo?

- Weeelll... The fact that you have to coat them daily with Rogaine really just turns me off. I'd look at a shelter for a cat.
- Find a breeder, try CFA (Cat Fanciers Association), if there is no breeders near you , you might have to import a kitten, also once you find a breeder, they can answer all of your questions about the breed.
- Hi Jess... all pedigree cats are know to have some type of health problems. I would recommend speaking with different Sphynx breeders to learn what more commonly known among the breed. Common misconception about the breed is that they are hypoallergenic, which isn't true.
