Is yogurt bad for a cats health?
I have 3 cats. 2 kittens and an adult. One of my kittens hangs out with me all the time. I give her yougurt sometimes, but my brother tells me not to. If i give yogurt to my cat could it effect her health? Or is cats being lactose intolerant a myth?

- Not at all. Yogurt is very beneficial because it contains good bacteria which helps digestion. I would stick to plain not flavored though.
- NO, BUT CHOCOLATE IS... MY DOG ATE CHOCOLATE AND HE DID NOT HAVE ANY REACTIONS! HE IS SUPERDOG...
- yogurt in a small amount is ok for cats...i give it to my kittens when I eat it as well...
- I wouldn't say its bad... There's yogurt in some cat food for sensitive stomachs. The same cultures in yogurt that are good for digestion apply to cats too. But, most cats are lactose intolerant, they shouldn't have too much milk, it could give them diarrea. Small amounts as a treat sometimes won't hurt though.
- i give my kats some yogurt sometimes too. dont give them too much though. if you give them too much their litter box will be so much fun to clean.... ;]]
