Can cat poop affect my health?
Unfortunately i live in a neighborhood where ALOT of stray cats wander around. And the worse thing is they poop everywhere near my house and my neighbor's. I do try to chase them away before they can do it but unfortunately i cant keep track of it all the time. Now it reeks every where i go in my side of the neighborhood. Is the smell going to affect my health in any way?

- no shouldn't affect your health. maybe contact animal control.
- Unless you're pregnant, no. I don't remeber why, but no. It stinks like nobody's business. but if you're smelling that ammonia smell it's normal.
- No
- No, smell won't affect anything other than offending the scent receptors in your nose. EATING the stuff may cause a problem, but if you're not in the habit of picking it up with your bare hands, you're safe. I find that fewer cats poop in the grass if it's cut short. This won't stop the raccoons or possums, but cats like taller grass. If you put out a bowl of water, they won't poop near it, so that's always something to consider if you want to move them away from an area.
