Have you tried the Frontline flea treatments for cats on sale on eBay which come in a big vial? Some eBay sites advertise a large dog dose of Frontline to be used for cats, together with a syringe (w/o the needle) to measure out the smaller doses for cats. They say the ingredients are the same and this is a much more cost effective way to use Frontline on cats. What do you think about this?

Does anyone have any kittens/yound cats for sale in lancashire? My friend wants a ginger kitten for a friend as a wedding present, (it has to be ginger as she's always wanted a ginger one and has already picked its name). My other friend wants a kitten or young female cat no colour preferences. We live in Lancashire (burnley) but we cant find any anywhere, tried the local rspca but they dont seem to want to rehome their cats. The shelter near me appear very reluctant to rehome. I have spoken to many people (whom I know look after their pets, I am a veterinary nurse) and the rspca shelter have been off hand with them. I can understand why but it seems only people that work can adopt the cats/dogs. The kitten will be loved and that prob wont come from the shelter but my other friend is happy with any cat. Sorry meant people that dont work.

What is better, to put up a sign in front of your house that says cats/kittens for sale or to go to a local park where there are a lot of kids and their parents and show the cats there. I wouldn't give any cats on the spot, to safeguard against weird people taking them and to also give the people the time to really decide if they want one or not. Btw, the city I'm in has no animal shelters, whatsoever. Not even nearby cities have them...so this is my only option. I've tried ads and only sketchy people have been responding.

Putting home up for sale - what should we do with our 2 indoor cats? Do buyers care that we have pets? Should we mention that we will have the carpets cleaned upon closing? Is the stevia plant safe for cats to eat? Hi all, My cat's birthday is in 6 days. She's got a ton of toys, scratchers, beds, etc. So I want to make her a pot full of non-toxic plants to eat(she loves eating plants and certain fruits). Can I give my cats Clonazepam (klonopin) to sedate them for a 1000 mile trip? My wife and I are moving out to kansas city and are really stressing out about transporting the cats. We have crates for them but want them to stay calm and sedated. one of them traveled when she was young but hasn't traveled any signifcant distance in a crate EVER. The other one has never traveled period. I've been reading online and it appears as though vets often dispense benzodyazapines for cats. It looks like the typical dosage is between .25 and .5mg. We have put all of our money into getting the house ready for sale and moving and would like to avoid the hefty vet charge that would inevitably come with this type of thing. I happen to be prescribed to clonazepam so I figured I would just give them .5mg at the begining of each 8 hour travel day (2 days, 16 hours) to keep them calm and relaxed in there crates. I just wanted to get input from any users on the site who have EXPERIENCE with this sort of thing. Any other travel recomendations would be much appreciated as well (e.g.when and where to let them go potty?) So I mean if people still love cats and dogs they will just buy them or illegelly hunt them down from the wildlife to keep as pets, or illegelly breed them and re-sale them? From the responces so far I have recieved accounted accusations for appaling resalling of puppies, un-rightful mating, Pets have their own rights, Good homes aren't always guaranteed, Mandatory screening is required and Pets should be a reward, not provoked. Well..I say, first of all, reselling of puppies is a method of en-suring a rightful home for a young puppie in this advanced human world, which doesn't have the usual habitat for the wild anylonger which has broken all existence of many endangered animals and has no place for a released cat or dog to roam freely, or be back to their habitat as their ancestors had once been. The age of Animal freedom is no longer and it is time animals were aware of that, I apoligise for any dos-comfort but it is fact and for that it is not safe to return domestic pets to their wildlife.Un-rightful mating is good in one-sence, because it prevents early endagerment, and for assuring good home placement for pets, if a pet is a-stray chipping resolv s any a-stray animal conditions. Only through pet-stores are your new pets enabled to be chipped, scanned, vaccinated even mandirated for a healthy life with their master/family! This doesn't mean the pet doesn't have to come back ever again for vaccination etc. it means that the initial bought item is scanned and clean and is new as new can be, it will need attention and will need your time and effort, but as I said the initial bought item is better than the hunted wild animal, just how a domestic pet should be. As for Pet Animals should be rewarded and not provoked.....well......that is like treating a pet as a lollipop, given only when the child is being good. Pets are not, and will never be considered as lollies, they cannot be just given away, their are licences and registrations needed for pet ownership, and without these you cannot own a pet anywhere in the world, legally. Pets are like our brothers and sisters not like a suck-able lollipop.

Does anyone have cats that are allergic to red dye? Do your cats vomit up their foods shortly after eating? My cats do like Friskies Feline Favorites dry food, but each time I have returned to this food, my cats (I have 8) throw it up. I have had to pick through "all" of the food to pick out the red dye pieces. I usually buy natural cat foods in order to prevent this task, but, occasionally I will feed it to them without sifting and sorting out the red pieces. I am always sorry that I do this as my cats promply become sick, gagging until they throw it up. I have spoken to other cat owners who stand in the cat food isle and are trying t buy cat food that is of good quality, which does not have a recall on it, and "yes", I am not the only one who is looking for cat food without red dye. I think the food once sorted and sifted of red dye pieces looks just as good, if not better than with the red dye pieces. I cannot buy the Friskies Seafood Flavor dry food, because it has more red dye pieces in it. It is usually the one that is on sale. I am wondering -decreased sales?

In Arizona, is a landlord required to give 30 days notice to list the home you rent for sale before showing? Yesterday we were notified that the home we rent (our lease is now month to month) is for sale and in two days we need to allow access to the listing agent to show the home to prospective buyers. This concerns us greatly due to our guard dog and a member of our house has an impaired immune system. We feel that allowing people that could have potential illness (it is flu season) in the house puts this family member at risk. We are willing to move within 30 days, especially to avoid the potential risks to health and the safety of our pets. We live in an area where predation is a huge risk. You don't let your cats or dogs out because they may not come back. Do we have the option to allow access without proper notice if proper notice is even required?

My mother is allergic to all cats except Abyssinians and Bengals - what others may she not be allergic to? We were looking at a Burmese for sale cheap, because she has a deviated septum.
